As a result of the deal, XIX Vodka will become the official vodka sponsor of the 2023 ceremony.

XIX Vodka was created by popular YouTube content creator group The Sidemen. Another of the group’s other ventures is a fast food chain called Sides.

In addition to XIX Vodka becoming a partner, content creator and Sidemen co-Founder Vikram ‘Vikkstar123’ Barn will attend the event along with other esports industry figureheads from November 29th-30th.

The deal marks XIX Vodka’s first foray into the esports industry, continuing the trend of alcohol brands expanding their presence within the sector. In recent months, GameSquare partnered with Camarena Tequila for an EA Sports FC event. Moreover, whiskey brand Ballantine’s launched a range of Dota 2-themed whiskey bottles in collaboration with Valve.

The 2023 Esports Awards takes place at Resorts World Las Vegas and continues to highlight some of the best individuals in the industry, including players, content creators, organisations, teams and other figures from various areas of esports.

XIX Vodka becomes the fifth partner of the 2023 Esports Awards. The alcohol brand joins the likes of glasses manufacturer Oakley, telecommunications company Xfinity, and automotive marque Lexus.

Mike Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, spoke on the deal: “We are thrilled to welcome XIX Vodka as the ‘Official Vodka Sponsor’ for the Esports Awards.

“Their commitment to quality and innovation perfectly aligns with our mission to honour excellence within the esports industry. We eagerly anticipate an extraordinary evening celebrating the achievements in esports and gaming.”
