North American esports organisation Ghost Gaming has announced a partnership with online eyewear retailer Zenni Optical.

As a result, the two parties will launch a range of activations to showcase the retailer’s collection of eyewear.

The partnership between Ghost Gaming and Zenni Optical comes as the retailer is preparing to launch a new eyewear collection later in 2024. According to a release, the organisation will release co-branded products alongside collaborating on a range of ‘educational content’ focusing on the importance of eye health.

In addition to the new content, the organisation and the retailer will bring the partnership ‘to life’ across a multitude of programmes such as Ghost Gaming’s youth academy and the Georgia Esports League.

Zenni first entered the esports industry in 2019 by partnering with the Golden Guardians. The most recent partnership for the retailer occurred in October 2021 where it secured a deal with Rocket League team AXLE-R8.

For Ghost Gaming, Zenni joins the organisation’s extensive partnership portfolio. In September 2023, it partnered with technology company ggCircuit to create the Scholastic Esports Innovation Center.

Todd Harris, CEO and co-owner of Ghost Gaming, spoke on the deal: “We are thrilled to partner with Zenni as they offer high-quality and affordable eyewear, which mirrors our own Ghost Gaming values of excellence and inclusion.

“Often in gaming, performance and wellness go together, and this is especially the case when it comes to vision. We are excited to collaborate with Zenni to bring stylish and accessible eyewear to our global gaming community of competitors, content creators, and fans.”
