Peripherals brand SteelSeries has secured a partnership with the Capcom Cup X, the final Street Fighter 6 tournament of the 2023 Capcom Pro Tour.
As a result of the partnership, all 48 competitors will wear SteelSeries’ Arctis Nova Pro headsets throughout the event. The event officially commenced last week with the last chance qualifier, however, the Group Elimination phase will begin on February 21st.
The Capcom Cup X concludes the Pro Tour, with the winner on February 25th walks away with its $1m (~£793,000) grand prize. Players have qualified for the event based on their performance across Capcom Pro Tour’s 2023 season.
This year saw Street Fighter developer Capcom heavily invest in its esports scene following the debut of Street Fighter 6. Notably, this included upping the Capcom Cup’s winners prize from $120,000 (£~99,000) to $1m.
Alongside SteelSeries, the likes of egg roll brand Pagoda Snacks and clothing brands NERDS Clothing and UNIQLO are supporting Capcom Cup X.
