The roster is widely considered one of the best women’s teams in MLBB. It has won more than 20 trophies in the last three years, including back-to-back Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Championship titles, a gold medal for Indonesia at the SEA Games 2023 and most recently a win at the WSL Season 8 which secured their spot at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

Financial figures have not been provided by Team Vitality and Bigetron Esports.

The 2024 MLBB Women’s Invitational is the only women’s scene to be represented at the Esports World Cup 2024. The event is regarded as of one the biggest women’s-only tournaments in esports with last year’s edition recording 179,024 peak viewers.

It is worth noting that Team Vitality was recently announced as a partner team for the Esports World Cup Foundation Club Support Program alongside 29 other teams. As a partner team, the organisation was provided financial capital to help expand into new titles and bolster content.

The expansion will also see Team Vitality participate in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) ecosystem through its tier-two competition. Earlier this year, the game’s publisher, Moonton, unveiled that MDL Indonesia Season 10 would feature two spots for all-female teams. As Bigetron Era, Team Vitality’s roster earned to spot by winning WSL Season 8

Founded in 2013, Team Vitality are no stranger to the women’s esports scene. This is the second women’s team that the organisation is boasting with the first being Rising Bees in League of Legends. The organisation also has teams in a variety of titles including CS2, VALORANT and recently Rennsport.

On the new acquisition, Fabien ‘Neo’ Devide, co-founder and Chairman of Team Vitality, commented: “We are thrilled to announce the integration of Bigetron Era into Team Vitality, marking a significant strategic move for us. It’s an immense honour to welcome one of the world’s premier teams, regardless of gender, into our family.

“This partnership primes us for success at the Esports World Cup, and also presents a golden opportunity to make waves in key markets like Indonesia and mobile gaming. Team Vitality is committed to promoting women’s esports, and we’re honoured to support and collaborate with such a talented team.”
