Hong Kong-based esports organisation TALON has announced two separate partnerships with streetwear brand Certified Saudi Arabia and blockchain company Perion Labs.

The latter deal will be focused on XP.GG, Perion Labs’ new gaming platform that rewards users who play certain games.

XP.GG launches on August 1st with Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite and Overwatch initially featured on the platform. A release noted that the project’s ‘Universal Battle Pass’ provides gamers with opportunities to earn prizes for performing well in the selected games.

Season 0’s prizes include rewards such as a gaming PC setup, a Fortnite-themed Secret Labs gaming chair, a PS5 and a CS2 knife, among others. XP.GG stated that prizes will increase in value each Season.

Sean Zhang, CEO of TALON, commented on the deal: “We’re excited to join forces with XP.GG, a platform that aligns with our commitment to rewarding and engaging gamers and growing the overall gaming community.”

Meanwhile, TALON’s partnership with Certified Saudi Arabia sees both brands collaborate to create two t-shirts and one hoodie. According to a release, the collection draws inspiration from TALON’s logo as well as the falcon, Saudi Arabia’s national bird.

The TALON x Certified Saudi Arabia collection officially launched on July 29th and coincides with the Esports World Cup, a multi-title esports event backed by the Saudi Arabian government. TALON has three rosters competing at the Esports World Cup in PUBG, Starcraft 2 and Rainbow 6 Siege.

TALON’s collaboration with the streetwear brand was facilitated by Saudi-based gaming consultancy Hawk Gaming Group.

Ibrahim Al Damegh, Co-founder at Certified Saudi Arabia, said: “Working with TALON Esports has been an incredible experience.

“We are proud to contribute to the Esports World Cup festivities in Riyadh with this limited edition collection. Our designs aim to inspire both the esports community and fashion enthusiasts alike.”
