The VALORANT Champions Tour has announced that its next agent will be revealed during the Masters Bangkok Grand Finals.

Ahead of the final match on March 2nd, 2am PST, the next VALORANT agent will be revealed to the world as part of a special live showcase, Thailand versus The World. Teams of popular content creators will debut the new agent and their abilities in a special match.

Whilst showmatch teams haven’t been revealed, VALORANT announced that Sentinels content creator Tyson ‘TenZ‘ Ngo will lead Team International. Meanwhile, Thai player Nattawat ‘SuperBusS‘ Yoosawat will captain the hometown team.

Who Is The Next VALORANT Agent?

Agent 28 was teased in the new Dawn of the Duelist cinematic for Masters Bangkok, which already has an official song. In the cinematic, a group of agents head to Thailand in a VLTR aircraft — Phoenix, Rayze, Brimstone, Vyse and up-and-coming agent Tejo send an email that reads: “The crew has potential, but they aren’t you.”

Some detective work has led the VALORANT community to figure that the email was sent to Tejo’s ‘source,’ which was mentioned in a previous email from Brimstone. This source was the one to initially reveal the attacks on Alpha Earth. The identity of this group is still unknown.

When Tejo sends the email, we then see a very blurry glimpse at the mysterious source it was sent to. The arm holding the phone has tattoos similar to Gecko, who got the glowing symbols on his body after connecting with his Radivore pets.

So far, nothing has been confirmed about Agent 28 but there are some speculations that can be made. First, it seems likely they will be from Bangkok, making them the first Thai agent in the game. This would explain why the team of agents are meeting in Bangkok.

The other possibility is that the agent is a Duelist, which can be inferred from the “Dawn of the Duelist” cinematic title. Agent 28’s player card ‘Prismatic Pathways’ as well as some visuals in the Season 2025 kickoff trailer seem to hint at the agent using crystal shards to attack and move around.

Agent 28 will be revealed on March 2nd.
