The Rainbow Six esports circuit, operated by tournament organiser BLAST, has announced a partnership with Xbox Game Pass for the 2025 season.

As a result, the circuit and the gaming subscription platform will join forces to host a range of in-person and online activations throughout the year.

The partnership between Rainbow Six and Xbox Game Pass begins with the RE:L0:AD tournament taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from May 10th to 18th, 2025.

RE:L0:AD is the first event of the 2025 Rainbow Six esports season and features all 20 organisations that are part of the circuit’s R6 Share programme.

As part of the deal, Xbox Game Pass will host activations at ‘key BLAST R6 events’ which include the November Major and the 2026 edition of the Six Invitational. Activations will include gaming areas, community activities and opportunities for fans to meet content creators.

Alongside the activations, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will earn in-game benefits for Rainbow Six Siege X, which begin in June. Ubisoft says the benefits will change “throughout the year to celebrate key milestones in the competitive season.”

Is 2025 the Year for Rainbow Six Esports?

Partnering with Xbox Game Pass for the 2025 season is a statement of intent for the Rainbow Six esports circuit, which has cemented itself as one of the leading first-person shooter titles.

Operated by esports tournament organiser BLAST, the circuit maintains its upward trajectory following a successful Six Invitational in February. Rainbow Six’s biggest event of the season recorded 379,376 peak viewers, according to Esports Charts.

Alongside joining forces with some of the biggest brands in gaming, the circuit continues to attract notable esports organisations looking to field rosters in international competition.

In recent months, the likes of Team Falcons and Weibo Gaming have acquired rosters ahead of the Esports World Cup, where Rainbow Six Siege X is one of several titles involved with the event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
