Tournament organiser BLAST has enabled YouTube’s Multiview feature, allowing viewers to watch several live feeds of the BLAST.tv Austin Major simultaneously through split screen.

Described as a ‘major leap forward,’ the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major has become the first esports event to use the video platform’s feature.

With BLAST using the feature during the Austin Major, viewers can watch two matches at the same time on their respective devices.

Outside of esports, Multiview is also used for live coverage of the National Football League (NFL) to cover several matches at once.

“The BLAST.tv Austin Major is set to be one of our biggest events of the year, and it just got even more exciting with YouTube multiview,” said Faye Malborough, Growth Director at BLAST.

“We’re thrilled to break new ground in esports broadcasting, using technology that’s already elevating the experience for fans of traditional sports and live music.”

BLAST’s use of multiview isn’t the first time the tournament organiser has utilised innovative techniques to broadcast a Counter-Strike Major. 2023’s Paris Major saw it join forces with TikTok to host a live stream.

In addition to YouTube, the Austin Major is also being broadcast across Twitch and the BLAST website.

BLAST Austin Major 2025 Viewership

Following the first two days of competition, the BLAST.tv Austin Major has recorded peak viewing figures of 480,306, according to Esports Charts.

With the likes of Team Falcons and FaZe Clan not in action until the start of Stage 2 on June 7th, the current figure is expected to rise as fans tune in to see if Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostylijev can make a deep run into the tournament.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
