NetEase has revealed the team that will be participating in Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 1, totaling 52 established esports organisations and factions competing across four different regions.

These competitive squads will be competing for the lion’s share of their region’s prize pool, as well as a spot in the Mid-Season Finals, where they will face off internationally against one another to decide the best team in the world.

In the announcement online, the official Marvel Rivals account wrote: “Stage 1 of Marvel Rivals Ignite is live, and the teams are locked in! From fierce rivalries in EMEA, AMER and OCE to rising stars in ASIA, these squads are ready to fight for glory.

“Check out the full lineup — who will rise, who will fall?”

Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 1 EMEA Teams

The EMEA region has assembled its teams, including the return of old organisations such as OG. Although Virtus.pro is seen by many as the favourites to win, many factions have stepped up to the plate hoping to challenge their winning streak.

The Americas has the most established organisations competing out of all regions — and arguably has one of the fiercest competitive scenes internationally. ENVY has become the recent favourite in light of its victory in The Shroud Gauntlet, but other teams such as 100 Thieves and Sentinels are also in the running as potential winners.

Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 1 Asia Teams

There will be 12 teams in total competing in the Asia region for Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 1. The current favourites to win and progress to the Mid-Season Finals are Gen.G, who signed players who won the Season 1 Championships. However, potential dark horses are BeLikeXBE and MVNEsport, who placed first in their respective Open Qualifiers.

Marvel Rivals Ignite Season 1 Oceania Teams

Oceania will have the fewest number of teams participating, with only eight participating and two spots available in the Mid-Season Finals. Since the Open Qualifiers concluded, Platinum Star has rebranded itself to become The Vicious. The current favourites to win are Kanga Esports, who won the Invitational, and Ground Zero Gaming, who came first in the Oceania Open Qualifiers #1.
