Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has shared details on the 2025 edition of its returning ALLSTAR event.

Taking place on June 27th, 2025, the MOBA title will reimagine its battlefield with dinosaur-inspired terrain and new gameplay mechanics.

The ALLSTAR update sees the introduction of Lord Pterosaur, an evolution of the Elemental Lord that appears on the standard iteration of the Mobile Legends map. The event marks the first time the title has featured a ‘fully immersive audiovisual map experience.’

Lord Pterosaur also brings new gameplay mechanics for players to overcome in order for the beast to beccome an ally for the team that manages to tame it.

“Our goal with ALLSTAR 2025 is to create unforgettable gaming moments that fully engage our players,” said Arnold Xie, Lead Moblie Legends Developer at MOONTON Games.

“This event will deliver a rich sensory and visual experience that excites the community with its detailed battlefield transformation and immersive storytelling.”

Alongside the new mechanics and new-look map, ALLSTAR 2025 also marks the launch of the Mobile Legends Dinosaur Adventure event. Players can complete quests and mini-games to unlock a range of exclusive skins.

Will Mobile Legends ALLSTAR Impact Esports?

With Mobile Legends esports events taking place throughout the year, the addition of new mechanics has the potential to shake up the esports scene ahead of the Mid-Season Cup, taking place as part of the Esports World Cup.

Before the biggest Mobile Legends tournament of the season occurs, several regional leagues are hosting qualifiers for their next seasons. Qualifiers for Season 16 of MPL Malaysia take place on June 29th and concludes on July 17th, meaning the map overhaul will feature across the title’s esports circuit.

Malaysia’s regional MLBB league is potentially undergoing significant change. In April, it was revealed the league was considering adopting a franchise model as part of the title’s growth strategy.
