The 2025 VALORANT Esports World Cup is here, and multiple organisations have made roster changes aimed at improving performances and achieving desired results.
The tournament features the 16 best teams from the Americas, Pacific, EMEA, and China, battling for a prize pool of $1.25m (£918,337).
Here are the latest moves made across all four regions by participating teams in hopes of claiming the winner’s title along with the largest share of its prize pool.

EDward Gaming
Known for his former quirky name hfmi0dzjc9z7 in the VALORANT community, Zhang ‘zjc’ Juncheng has joined EDward Gaming. He has replaced Zhang ‘Jieni7’ Juntai on the active roster, who is now with the team as a substitute.

Xi Lai Gaming
Despite winning VCT China Stage 1, Xi Lai Gaming showcased an underwhelming performance at Masters Toronto, forcing the team to make immediate roster changes.
As a result, the organisation has benched Zhang ‘Midi’ Jiajun and Zhuo ‘MarT1n’ Zhengjie to bring in former Rare Atom player James ‘NoMan’ Man to the starting lineup.

Titan Esports Club has parted ways with Goo ‘Rb’ Sang-min and Li ‘B1ack’ Songtai, who has now officially retired, after “thorough and amicable discussions”. As a result, Titan has announced its new line-up for both the Esports World Cup and VCT China Stage 2.

2025 VCT Pacific Kickoff winner DRX have promoted Taehee ‘Flicker’ Yoon from its Academy team to the main roster for the Esports World Cup and Pacific Stage 2.
Apart from this, the team’s star player Cho ‘Flashback’ Min-hyuk will be making a return to Pacific Stage 2 after taking a temporary break from competitive VALORANT to focus on his mental health.
