Riot Games is bringing even more VALORANT fifth anniversary celebrations with the announcement of a unique tournament, VALORANT IGNITE.
VALORANT IGNITE will be a special all-streamer event featuring creators from other genres who are amateurs to the game. To help them on their journey, they will be trained by notable VALORANT esports coaches Connor ‘Sliggy’ Blomfield and Jacob ‘mini’ Harris.
Running from July 9th to 12th, the following two teams will get daily training sessions live on stream before they battle against each other on stage to be crowned champions.
Team Sliggy:
- Sliggy (Coach): Former VCT coach and current streamer
- Jukeyz: Former professional CoD player and now a full-time streamer
- SlimJadey: FPS streamer, presenter and TV gaming consultant
- Emaerya: Battle royale streamer from Northern Ireland
- Triple_G: Variety streamer creating content across different genres
- PerriKaryal: Known for playing games using mind control
Team Mini:
- Coachmini (Coach): Former VCT coach and current streamer
- Gaming Merchant: Creates educational content about game mechanics, tips, and tricks
- Sooshi: FPS and hero shooter streamer
- Emzy: Known for her sniping skills in battle royale titles
- Zyro: Battle royale streamer focused on helping fans improve their gameplay
- Jhinxx: VTuber streaming a mix of FPS, hero shooters, and more
The Grand Final will be a best-of-three series and will also feature Corrode, the latest addition to the VALORANT map pool. The winning team of VALORANT IGNITE will receive tickets to Champions Paris, taking place in October.

The tournament will give casual players a peek into how coaches train players behind the scenes and maybe, fans can also pick up a few tips to help with their own rank climb in VALORANT.
