FURIA enters the top ten in CS2 VRS for July 2025

FURIA has broken into the top ten of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) for July 2025, climbing seven places in the last month following its performance at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

The July VRS will be used to determine the participants for several upcoming tournaments, including StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 and FISSURE Playground #2. Most tournament organisers have yet to reveal which teams have accepted invitations for the events scheduled for September.

June was a standout month for FURIA given its performance in the Austin Major. After starting the competition in Stage 2, the Brazilian organisation, led by Gabriel ‘FalleN‘ Toledo, made it to the Playoffs before ultimately losing in the first round to paiN Gaming.

While FURIA have earned a place in the top ten teams in global Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), GamerLegion has dropped out of the top ten, falling from ninth to eleventh. Other notable movers include Brazilian team Legacy, which has skyrocketed up the rankings from 49th to 21st following an impressive Major debut.

Chinese side Lynn Vision Gaming has also climbed the rankings after a strong performance in Austin, Texas. The team has become the highest-ranked Chinese team, moving from 25th to 18th, one place behind Team Liquid, which has dropped from 14th to 17th.

Austin Major winners Team Vitality remain at the top of the VRS for July, cementing its place as the best CS2 team in the world heading into the second half of the year.
