Marvel Rivals has released its latest patch notes for Season 3: The Abyss Awakens, bringing new content to NetEase’s smash hit hero shooter.

From Fantastic Four skins, a new Team-Up, bug fixes and more, here are the biggest highlights from Marvel Rivals’ latest update.

New Fantastic Four Skins and Team-Up

Four new skins are dropping on July 25th, 2025 at 2:00 AM UTC, themed after Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie. First revealed through the Season 3 roadmap, these skins are available for Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic and The Thing.

There will also be a new Team-Up ability between Human Torch (anchor) and The Thing. The Human Torch lifts the Vanguard up into the air and takes flight. Afterwards, he can drop The Thing at a targeted location where the Thing creates a damaging zone that disables mobile abilities.

Marvel Rivals Heroes See Bug Fixes

The patch notes also detail various bug fixes to some of the best characters in Marvel Rivals, both minor and game-breaking.

Here is the full list of changes made in the latest update:

  • Spider-Man: Mark’s from Spider-Tracer and Burn-Tracer Team-Up previously would get mixed up, now display correctly.
  • Phoenix: Minor scaling error from hero select display has been corrected. Turning mid-air during her Ultimate is now no longer affected by frame rate.
  • Black Widow: Issue where launching up into the air during Edge Dancer would disrupt ‘subsequent multi-stage ability logic’ has been resolved.
  • Rocket Raccoon: Fixed a glitch with B.R.B. Previously, reviving a teammate would sometimes incorrectly display twice in the top right.
  • Cloak & Dagger: Ultimate ability will no longer be disrupted by an ally Cloak’s Dark Teleportation (e.g through shapeshifted Loki).

There are also several quality-of-life changes. These include restoring background music to Psylocke’s Breezy Butterfly costume from the Summer Special event, and increased Accessory Points earned in Quick Match (15 points) and Practice vs AI (10 points).
