Ahead of BLAST Slam IV kicking off on October 28th in Singapore, the list of invited teams for the event has been revealed.

The tournament will feature a total of 12 squads competing to play at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for a prize pool worth $1,000,000 (~£736,745).

Out of the 12 teams, seven have received direct invites, while the remaining spots will be filled through the Closed Qualifiers. Here’s the full list of invited organisations:

  • Team Liquid
  • Team Falcons
  • PARIVISION
  • Tundra Esports
  • Team Spirit
  • Talon (Local Region Hero Invite)
  • HEROIC (Americas Invite)

Team Spirit recently emerged as champions at the Esports World Cup and will be looking to execute another dominant run at BLAST Slam IV.

Tundra Esports, on the other hand, won Slam III; however, the team has been struggling a bit with form recently. That said, the organisation is still one of the top contenders for the trophy.

BLAST Slam IV is officially backed by the Singapore Tourism Board and is being organised in partnership with AED Presents Asia.

Dota 2 BLAST Slam IV Schedule and Format

All 12 teams will be placed in the Group Stage and will fight in a best-of-one round robin format from October 8th to November 1st.

The top two squads will advance directly to the Semi-finals, with teams that finish 3rd to 8th will compete in the Play-In stage. The rest will move to the Last Chance Playoffs.

On November 2nd, the winner of the Last Chance Playoffs will join the Play-In stage and the Play-In winner will then head to the Quarter-finals.

Playoffs will begin on November 7th, featuring a single-elimination bracket, with the champion being crowned on November 9th.

BLAST Slam IV will be streamed live on BLAST Slam Dota 2’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
