Lynn Vision Gaming and Team Liquid have become the first teams eliminated from FISSURE Playground 2.

The esports organisations failed to win three matches during the Counter-Strike 2 event’s Swiss stage.

Lynn Vision Gaming Crashes Out

Ranked 13th in September’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), the event signalled an opportunity for Lynn Vision to cement its place within the top 32 as the cutoff for the StarLadder Budapest Major moves closer.

However, the Chinese side was unable to secure a single map victory, losing to G2 Esports, The MongolZ, and Virtus.pro in the opening three rounds of the Swiss stage.

Lynn Vision showed signs of life against VP, taking Dust II to double overtime, but was unable to advance to the fourth round of matches.

Team Liquid Stays Alive

With the imminent departure of Russel ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken to FaZe Clan announced, Team Liquid has the opportunity to make the player’s final event one to remember.

By round two, the organisation was on the verge of elimination following defeats to FURIA and GamerLegion. Going into today’s matches, it was do or die for Team Liquid against a struggling HEROIC.

A standout performance from Team Liquid’s Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz sealed the deal on Mirage, with the team overcoming several technical issues to send HEROIC packing with a 0-3 record.

Team Liquid remains in the tournament and moves on to the fourth round of the Swiss stage with another opportunity to earn a place at the playoffs.

What’s Next?

Following the first round of elimination matches, the FISSURE Playground 2 Swiss Stage continues as teams continue battling it out for the eight playoff places that are up for grabs.

FaZe Clan, Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, and FURIA aim to qualify for the next stage with a flawless 3-0 record. Meanwhile, the likes of Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, and TYLOO hope to score another victory to move to the fifth and final round.

Fans can tune into the English broadcast of the event exclusively on FISSURE’s Kick channels.

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
