RAD Esports has unveiled its new Marvel Rivals competitive roster ahead of Ignite Stage 2, introducing eight new players to the organisation.

The organisation previously let go of its RAD EU roster that won the Ignite Mid Season Finals, now playing as Team1 and still in search of an organisation to sign with.

These are all the new players competing for Rad Esports in Marvel Rivals:

  • bedtimestory – Duellist
  • forkydog – Strategist
  • Gale – Duellist
  • Gilbert Noodle – Vanguard
  • Zechariah ‘Guru‘ Koppes – Vanguard
  • Brent ‘Pizzademon‘ Lanoix – Strategist
  • AlwaysRocket – Duellist (Substitute)
  • Unovvn – Vanguard (Substitute)

While some players will be competing for the first time, others have been brought in from other organisations. For example, Gale, Pizzademon, Guru and bedtimestory have all come from Solaris, a team that placed first in the Ignite Stage 2 Americas Open Qualifiers Split 2.

It is also important to note that Rad Esports’ original North America roster, including players such as Hunter ‘Aspect‘ Smith and Brandon ‘Vintage‘ Calderon, officially left the organisation after first joining on May 23rd.

What’s Next for Rad Esports?

Fans can watch the new team in action in upcoming Marvel Rivals esports events, such as Americas Ignite Stage 2 where Rad Esports has taken Solaris’ qualification spot.

Aside from having an Americas team, RAD Esports previously competed within the EMEA region against teams such as Citadel Gaming, formerly Brr Brr Patapim, and Virtus.pro. Only time will tell how the organisation will fare this time in the American scene against powerhouses such as ENVY, 100 Thieves, and Stage 1 Americas champions, Sentinels.

As of writing, the original RAD EU roster is currently playing as Team1 in the EMEA region, having entered through the EMEA Ignite Stage 2 Open Qualifier. The roster parted ways with RAD Esports after the contract ended following the Ignite Mid Season Finals LAN major event in Guangzhou, China. It’s Strategist player, Max ‘fate‘ Currie, has shared online that Team1 is still searching for an organisation to sign with.
