VALORANT has announced that Pick ‘Ems are returning for the upcoming VALORANT Champions 2025 event taking place in Paris, France.

The prediction game for the first-person shooter title enables players to win exclusive rewards for participating.

The return of Pick ‘Ems was revealed as part of the title’s 11.05 update, which will be the build used in VALORANT’s season-ending tournament taking place in the French capital from September 12th to October 5th, 2025.

Starting on September 4th, players can predict the outcomes of the Group Stage matches within the game client and on VALORANT’s website. Correct predictions and correctly guessing the exact placement of a team will earn points.

In addition to Pick ‘Ems, Riot Games has introduced Factions as a new initiative for players to earn a range of in-game rewards. Players can join a Faction spearheaded by a content creator, with Pick ‘Em points earned during the Groups and Playoffs contributing to the Faction score.

The Pick ‘Ems feature continues to prove a popular fan engagement tool for the VALORANT esports scene. In June, Riot Games revealed that 1.1m predictions were submitted during the VALORANT Masters Toronto event, won by Paper Rex.

VALORANT 11.05 Patch Notes

Ahead of VALORANT Champions Paris 2025, the 11.05 update has made some changes to various elements of the title. Notably, though, the update contains minimal changes to the Agents that form the competitive meta.

Visual effects for Harbor have been adjusted for improved clarity, while the visual noise while using the Reckoning ability has been reduced to make it easier to see where an opponent is hiding.

Alongside Harbor adjustments, various bug fixes covering a variety of Agents have been applied, with the aim of optimising gameplay ahead of the title’s biggest tournament of the year.

VALORANT Champions Paris will see 16 teams from across the world competing for a share of a $2.25m (~£1.6m) prize pool
