Riot Games has officially unveiled its in-game item bundle dedicated to the 2025 VALORANT Champions tournament in Paris.

In addition to typical accessories, the 2025 bundle will include a Vandal skin, a butterfly knife and the Champions trophy as a flex.

VALORANT Champions 2025 will take place from September 12th to October 5th in Paris. Sixteen teams, hailing from the four VCT regions (EMEA, Americas, Pacific, China), will fight for the coveted Champions trophy and the lion’s share of the event’s $2.25m (~£1.66m) prize pool.

Since the inaugural VALORANT Champions event in 2021, Riot Games has released exclusive skin bundles representing the largest international tournament in the game’s annual esports calendar.

With the growth of the VALORANT esports ecosystem, additional capsules emerged for other tournaments and occasions, such as the 2023 LOCK//IN event bundle and the 2025 VCT Season karambit knives.

All these drops are part of Riot’s revenue-sharing model, with a portion of the revenue generated going to VCT teams. The 2023 Champions bundle, for example, raised over $20m (~£15.8m) for participating teams.

Moreover, Riot Games doubled down on revenue-sharing last year, offering capsules for every VCT Partner and Ascension team, which are available in a dedicated “esports” section of the game store throughout each competitive season.

What We Know about the 2025 Champions Bundle So Far

On August 30th, Riot dropped the official announcement video for this year’s VALORANT Champions bundle. Given that the previous Champions capsule featured a Phantom skin, fans already assumed that they would see a Vandal skin this time around.

Now, VALORANT enthusiasts know the featured in-game items for certain:

  • Vandal skin
  • Butterfly knife skin
  • Champions trophy flex
  • Gun buddy
  • Player card
  • Spray

The announcement video also gave a first look at the two bundle skins, which are inspired by a 24-carat style. As a result, gold is the primary colour for both items, with black and red providing contrasting colour accents.

According to VALORANT News, here are some of the Vandal’s unique features:

  • Champion’s Aura: A glowing red “fire” outline that glows when the wielder top frags in a game. The glow changes to gold whenever the wielder scores a kill.
  •  Hot Streak: After every kill, the entire weapon transforms into a full-gold form for a period of time. Getting another frag extends the duration of the gold form.
  • “Paint the World” Finisher: After the finisher triggers, the wielder’s team can leave golden VCT marks across the map wherever they shoot.

Moreover, the Vandal’s finisher depicts a countdown for how many rounds the gun wielder needs to achieve victory in prominent golden letters, while playing the 2025 Champions anthem.

The Champion’s Aura and Hot Streak also apply to the Champions 2025 knife. In addition, the butterfly knife will feature a brand new inspect animation, as well as custom visual effects and SFX on all other animations.

Similarly, Riot has not yet confirmed the price and release date for the new Champions bundle, but reputable leak channels claim that it will be available from September 4th.
