Gaming content creator and streamer Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop has announced the inaugural Battlefield 6: RedSec tournament called CouRage Clash.

The competition will be held in partnership with gaming giant Electronic Arts and will feature the top 32 influencers competing for a $100,000 (~£76,200) prize pool on November 11, 2025.

What is Gauntlet Mode?

According to the announcement, the competition will take place on the new Battlefield 6: RedSec Gauntlet game mode, a new experience within the battle royale mode released in season one.

It is a 32-player mode, with eight squads of four players each. Gauntlet is split into four rounds, taking place on various points of interest throughout the Fort Lyndon battle royale map.

Squads work to complete the map objective, which can include capturing consoles, holding specific zones, protecting high-value targets, among others, all on top of eliminating enemy players. The aim is to climb the leaderboard and avoid elimination until there is one squad standing by the end of round four.

CouRageJD shared in a follow-up post that he is seeking creators to join the Battlefield 6: RedSec event, with the full roster expected to be revealed closer to the event.

CouRageJD and Esports

It is not the first CouRage Clash event this year, as the streamer previously held a $100,000 Marvel Rivals tournament back in October, which was won by a team featuring Vladan ‘Necros‘ Konstantinov and James ‘Clayster‘ Eubanks.

CouRaheJD is a popular gaming personality with a history in esports. While he is not an active player in the scene, he is a co-owner of 100 Thieves, which participates across various competitive titles such as Marvel Rivals and VALORANT.

The tournament sees CouRageJD take up a commentary role once more. He previously did esports commentary back in 2018, the last year of his tenure with Major League Gaming at the Call of Duty World League. In recent years, he has committed to full-time content creation and streaming.
