Florida-based tech university Full Sail University has joined forces with North American esports organisation Tribe Gaming to launch an internship programme.

The collaboration between the two parties comes as part of the university’s aim to open career opportunities for its students and graduates.

Tribe Gaming primarily focuses on mobile esports and content creation, becoming one of the largest mobile-focused esports organisations in the West. The programme sees students and graduates receive training across several areas across production and content sectors.

The organisation offers paid internships and full-time opportunities for students looking to pursue a career within the esports industry.

“I’m really excited to have a professional esports company hiring our esports grads,” said Angie Duplis, Industry Outreach Representative at Full Sail University. “I am honoured to continue building this relationship and look forward to creating more engagement opportunities with Tribe Gaming.”

So far, the programme has resulted in three Full Sail graduates from its Game Business and Esports and Film programmes who have secured roles at Tribe Gaming.

Full Sail University is no stranger to the world of esports. In recent years, it has collaborated with the likes of EA Sports and DreamHack on a range of initiatives, including the creation of educational panels at events.

Universities and Esports

In recent months, several universities across the United States have joined forces with video games and esports organisations to embark on new initiatives aiming to enhance their respective curricula.

On January 14th, Maryville University joined forces with NRG to launch a VALORANT academy programme to create more pathways for aspiring players looking to embark on a career as a professional player.

In October 2025, battle royale title PUBG Mobile partnered with the University of Southern California to use its World of Wonder creation platform as a tool for USC’s Games as a Service and Live Operations class.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
