Team Liquid Philippines (PH) has already undergone roster changes in 2026, with roamer John ‘Perkz‘ Sumawan leaving the organisation and Gold Laner Kiel ‘Oheb‘ Calvin Q.Soriano moved to an inactive position.

The new line-up sees the addition of Kim ‘Daikiqt‘ Sebanes as Gold Laner and Santi ‘Santi Sucre‘ Flores Noble as Roamer. Sultan ‘AeronnShikii‘ Muhammad has also joined the Philippines side on a loan deal from Team Liquid Indonesia.

Additionally, the team will be led by the head coach Ong ‘Aeon‘ Wei Sheng and Allec ‘SN4P‘ Monsseur Alvarado Alberto has been named assistant coach.

This is the full 2026 line-up for Team Liquid PH:

  • Sanford ‘Sanford‘ Marin Vinuya – EXP Laner
  • Karl ‘KarlTzy‘ Gabriel Nepomuceno – Jungler
  • Alston ‘Sanji‘ Pabico – Middle Laner
  • AeronnShikii‘ – Gold Laner
  • Daikiqt‘ – Gold Laner
  • Jaypee ‘Jaypee‘ Gonzales Dela Cruz – Roamer
  • Santi Sucre‘ – Roamer

Team Liquid fields several teams in MLBB esports: Team Liquid Indonesia, and an all-female team.

Team Liquid PH Continues to be a Strong Contender

Since the organisation first entered MLBB esports in 2024, Team Liquid PH has been a strong competitor in the space. The team placed first in MPL Philippines Season 13, 15 and 16, alongside winning the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025 after defeating Selangor Red Giants OG Esports 4-1 in the Grand Finals.

The team ultimately placed fourth in the M7 World Championship, losing 2-3 to Alter Ego. Only time will tell whether Team Liquid PH can make it all the way to M8 and secure the champion title.

Aurora Gaming PH

Aurora Gaming has announced that its Philippines roster will remain the same from the 2025 season. The only moves that occurred since 2026 began was the departure of Jonmar ‘OhMyV33NUS‘ Villaluna and Danerie ‘Wise‘ James Del Roasio as content creators.

This is the full roster that will continue to represent Aurora Gaming PH for MPL Season 17:

  • Dylan ‘Light‘ Aaron Poblete Catipon – Roamer
  • Jan ‘Domeng‘ Dominic Del Delmundo – Gold Laner
  • Kenneth ‘Yue‘ Carl Tadeo – Middle Laner
  • Jonard ‘Demonkite‘ Cedrix Caranto – Jungler
  • Edward ‘Edward‘ Jay Dapadap – EXP Laner

The organisation also fields several teams in MLBB esports: the main Aurora Gaming team comprised mostly of Turkish professional players, and the all-female Aurora Avalanche.

Aurora Gaming PH Historic Run in 2025

Aurora Gaming PH’s choice to retain the same roster as the previous season is not surprising. The same line-up of players won the M7 World Championship back in January 2026 after defeating Alter Ego 4-0 in the Grand Finals. Their historic win at the championship in Jakarta was a feat celebrated by the Philippines Senate.

Aurora Gaming PH has also been a strong contender in the scene since it was established in 2024, placing runner-up in MPL Philippines Season 14, fourth in Season 15, and runner-up again in Season 16.
