Cryptocurrency company Immutable has announced a major upgrade to its $60,000 Weekly Rewards programme, introducing a new dynamic tier system designed to reward consistent player activity.

The update was revealed on the company’s official X account, where Immutable described it as a new era for engagement across its gaming ecosystem.

Players must now focus on consistent engagement rather than one-off participation. According to Immutable, the dynamic tier system requires players to complete quests and earn weekly points, which determine tier ranking and influence their share of the $60,000 prize pool each week.

Dynamic Tiers Aim to Reward Consistent Engagement

Immutable stated the new tier system rewards real, ongoing gameplay. Instead of static levels, rankings now adjust based on weekly activity, meaning players must remain active to stay competitive.

Notably, this approach is intended to strengthen fairness by aligning payouts with measurable engagement. The programme includes five tiers of participation.

Common grants basic eligibility for the weekly pool. Uncommon increases reward probability, while Rare enhances access to higher value distributions. Epic unlocks premium reward categories, and Legendary provides eligibility for the largest payouts within the pool.

Immutable explained that the structure keeps competition active each week, encouraging players to remain engaged across multiple titles.

Additionally, Immutable Play now features a detailed profile panel where users can track their statistics in real time.

Players can monitor their weekly points, compare rankings with the broader community, and see how in-game milestones translate into tangible reward opportunities.

The company noted that greater transparency was central to the redesign, allowing participants to clearly understand how performance connects to payouts.

Immutable in Web3 Gaming

Immutable is a Web3 gaming platform and ecosystem built to help developers create, launch, and grow blockchain-enabled games with digital asset ownership and scalable infrastructure.

Founded in 2018, the company first introduced Immutable X, a Layer 2 network built with zero-knowledge rollups to reduce transaction costs and improve speed for NFTs and in-game assets on the Ethereum network.

Since then, Immutable has expanded with Immutable zkEVM, an Ethereum-compatible network tailored specifically for gaming economies.

The ecosystem now supports hundreds of titles and offers onboarding tools such as Immutable Passport, frictionless wallets, minting tools for digital items, and gas-free marketplaces. These features allow players to buy, sell, and trade digital assets while maintaining direct ownership.

Immutable’s Web3 Expansion and Network Upgrade

Meanwhile, Immutable confirmed on January 28th that its long-planned merge of Immutable X and Immutable zkEVM is nearing completion.

The company stated that all games and staking contracts have already migrated, and both Sandbox and Testnet chains have been unified.
