Crazy Racoon’s Journey in Overwatch

The organisation first made its competitive debut in April 2024 by signing the free-agent team WAC, a team comprised of former Overwatch League players and 2023 Champion CH0R0NG.

The organisation entered into the esports scene just as Blizzard Entertainment unveiled OWCS, the Overwatch League’s replacement. Since then, Crazy Raccoon has undergone several roster changes over the years, yet still stands as one of the strongest teams in both Asia and on the global stage.

In 2024, the team won the Asia Stage 1 Main Event and the 2024 Major, and went on to win the Overwatch tournament during the 2024 Esports World Cup. After podium finishes in Stage 2 and 3, the team went on to finish runner-up in the OWCS 2024 World Finals.

Crazy Raccoon would continue to enjoy success in 2025, winning Korea Stage 1 and placing runner-up in the Asia Stage 1 Main Event. It then defeated Team Falcons 4-2 at 2025 Champions Clash in Hangzhou, China. The team then went on to win Korea Stage 2 and 3, yet placed between fifth and eighth during the Midseason Championship at the 2025 Esports World Cup.

The organisation would end the 2025 season by reaching the World Finals in DreamHack Stockholm, placing third as Twisted Minds became the champion.

In 2026, Crazy Raccoon was named an OWCS partner team in Asia, which resulted in the team being invited to the OWCS 2026 Pre-Season Bootcamp. During the event, a live tournament was held, where the team placed runner-up after losing to Twisted Minds.

Only time will tell whether Crazy Raccoon will once again reach the World Finals this year, and if the team can go all the way to secure the championship title.
