Nicole Du Cane Spencer has joined Multi-regional esports organisation Misfits Gaming Group as its new Vice President of Partnerships.

In her new role, Spencer will be responsible for driving business, media, sponsorship and partnership revenue across Misfits’ brands and assets. This includes the organisation’s Overwatch League and Call of Duty League franchises Florida Mayhem and Florida Mutineers, respectively.

Spencer joins Misfits after more than two years at North American esports company Wisdom Gaming, where she recently served as its Vice President of Sales and Partnerships. Spencer’s tenure also includes a lengthy spell at Dragon Door Publications.

During her time at Wisdom Gaming, the company secured notable partnerships with the likes of Mall of America, Riot Games and MLB franchise the Minnesota Twins.

Last month, Misfits made headlines following the news that the company sold its LEC franchise spot to Spanish organisation Team Heretics. According to the esports organisation, the move is part of Misfits’ larger strategy to expand its focus on the creator scene, as well as esports.

One of Misfits’ new focuses is the upcoming launch of TubNet, a new cross-platform Minecraft Server debuting sometime in August.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Spencer said: “[I’m] honoured to be part of such an incredible organisation. Daring to be different, championing the misfits, and being one of the most engaged brands in esports.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
