UK-based esports and gaming event organiser EPIC.LAN and multinational technology company Intel have renewed their partnership for a third consecutive year.

Intel will continue supporting events throughout 2023 by offering prizes in addition to product demonstrations.

The news follows the return of in-person events after the COVID-19 pandemic. The two parties will continue to encourage the growth of the UK grassroots esports scene through supporting tournaments taking place at EPIC38.

The first EPIC.LAN event of 2023 will see Intel showcase its latest range of computer processors alongside exclusive game access to those in attendance. Held at the Kettering Conference Centre, EPIC38 takes place from February 23rd-26th where CS:GO, VALORANT and Rainbow Six: Siege tournaments will take place.

Intel and EPIC.LAN first inked a deal in February 2021. Initially, the collaboration lasted a year with Intel sponsoring a VALORANT tournament and supporting the ‘Intel Community Championship’, an event aimed at casual gamers.

The Intel renewal follows on from EPIC.LAN extending its existing deal with PC hardware retailer Overclockers UK. As a result, the retailer will continue having a physical presence alongside Intel at all EPIC.LAN events in 2023.

“With products like the new 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900KS, which brings unprecedented speed to desktop users, Intel continues to be a leader in PC gaming. We look forward to sharing the i9-13900KS, Intel Arc, and other innovations with the EPIC.LAN community throughout 2023”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
