UK-based esports organisation MNM Gaming has named Aim Lab, an FPS training tool developed by Statespace, as its training partner for 2023 and 2024.

As part of the deal, both parties will launch three new weapon skins based on the popular Chinese novel, Journey to the West, and its protagonist, the Monkey King. These MNM-themed skins will be available on the Aim Lab platform.

According to a release, the skins created by MNM Gaming serve the purpose of showcasing the organisation’s emphasis on storytelling, particularly when it comes to sharing its own culture. MNM Gaming, which was established by Kalvin and Daniel Chung, two brothers of British Chinese origin, is a gaming and esports brand that seeks to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western lifestyles.

Since 2016, MNM Gaming has fielded professional esports teams in various titles, including Rainbow Six Siege. The team is scheduled to begin its BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen quarterfinal match against w7m esports later today, which coincides with its recent partnership.

By offering various exercises, Aim Lab assists players in enhancing their aim. The company provides PC and mobile applications featuring scenarios inspired by first-person shooters, allowing players to practice their skills with various weapons. The application was initially released for PC in late 2018.

In the past, Aim Lab has secured notable partnerships with both the Call of Duty League and the VALORANT Champions Tour, as well as Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Siege.

Kalvin Chung, CEO of MNM Gaming, commented on the partnership: “We’re super excited to partner with Aim Labs. Storytelling is a large part of MNM, which is why our skins are carefully designed to share our culture.

“This partnership will allow fans to directly support MNM and improve their gameplay through Aim Lab’s extensive training systems, all while rocking their new skins. The weapon skins collaboration will soon be available for purchase directly on Aim Labs, via the Steam and Epic Games download platforms.”
