The Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies), an mobile games awards show created by the Esports Awards, has announced Mobile Global Esports Inc. (MOGO) as its official partner.

MOGO will be the presenting partner of the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year award at the inaugural edition of the Mobies, set to take place in July 2023.

The Mobies were created as a mobile-first awards show, similar to the Esports Awards, one of the largest awards ceremonies in gaming and esports. The awards show was co-founded by mobile esports veteran Matt Rutledge and the Esports Awards and is set to bring attention to the most important figures in mobile esports. The awards show will take place this July in Los Angeles, for the first time ever.

The inaugural Mobile Gaming Awards are supported by meal replacement startup CTRL and MOGO for now. The event will award a number of awards, including Best Mobile Game, Competitive Game of the Year, Content Creator of the year and others.

MOGO is an Indian esports event company that operates leagues and runs events in the country. The company is behind the University National Esports Championship, a prominent event in the Indian esports market that sees universities across India compete in various esports titles, such as VALORANT and Battlegrounds Mobile: India.

MOGO recently made headlines by appointing former Riot Games executive Devin Murphy as its Director of Strategic Development, aiming to further increase the company’s presence outside India. The partnership with the Mobile Gaming Awards reflects this aim.

Matt ‘MobileMatt’ Rutledge, co-founder of the Mobies, commented on the partnership, “It’s great to welcome MOGO to the Mobies family. With our inaugural ceremony on the horizon, it’s incredible to partner with an organisation to help to elevate the community in this ever-growing industry.

“This moment marks the beginning of a flourishing partnership with an organisation that shares our vision of lifting up talented individuals, organisations, and initiatives in the mobile industry.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
