Youth-focused North American esports company Valhallan has announced a strategic partnership with gaming chair manufacturer Mavix.

Mavix becomes the official outfitter of seating at all Valhallan locations. The two companies hope that providing Mavix’s gaming chair to Valhallan customers will improve posture and help people focus when playing esports titles.

Valhallan is a youth esports franchise operating in North America and the UK. It largely operates LAN facilities, but also offers coaching to players wanting to improve, and promotes the potential of esports to develop soft skills in children aged 7 to 17. The company also operates the Valhallan Esports League, created through a merger between the United Federation of Esports Athletes League and the North American Esports League, having acquired both tournaments earlier in 2022.

The tournaments weren’t Valhallan’s only 2022 acquisition: it also purchased youth esports platform NXT UP in October 2022 for an undisclosed amount. The platform has helped Valhallan provide an online environment for children to compete in tournaments, run brackets, and navigate the mountain of requirements concerning the management of children’s data in both the US and the UK.

The partnership is not the first for chair manufacturer Mavix. The company has been responsible for kitting out some of video game supplier GAME’s now-defunct US ‘Belong’ arenas since at least 2021/ Mavix has also collaborated with esports teams like OpTic Chicago, as well as tournament organiser Nerd Street Gamers.

“By integrating Mavix’s exceptional gaming chairs into our esports facilities, we aim to raise the bar for player comfort and performance,” said Luke Zelon, Vice President of Media and Partnerships at Valhallan. “Our gamers deserve the absolute best, and this partnership allows us to provide them with cutting-edge equipment that enhances their gaming experience.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
