Former X7 Esports Founder and CEO Josh Kingett has joined esports and gaming agency DotX Talent.

Kingett joins as DotX Talent’s Head of Esports, where he will manage the agency’s esports operations. This includes scouting and signing players, working with coaches and other support staff, and brokering deals with teams across Europe and beyond.

Founded in 2022 by sports law firm Morgan Sports Law, DotX Talent’s list of clientele includes the likes of LEC caster Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, ex-CDL player Thomas ‘Tommey’ Trewen and esports host Sam ‘Tech Girl’ Wright.

Prior to the Isle of Man-based esports organisation closing its doors last year, X7 Esports had started to garner a reputation within the European League of Legends scene for its scouting and transfer model. The organisation would secure transfers with East Asian talent, such as Kang ‘Haru’ Min-seung and Kim ‘Chasy’ Dong-Hyeon, with the intention of selling them at a later date for a fee.

Alongside running X7 Esports, Kingett was previously an Esports Executive for Digital Isle of Man, a role he left in May 2023.

Kingett’s appointment isn’t the only major personnel move for DotX Talent this year. In June the agency announced the promotion of Mitsouko Anderson from Head of Partnerships to Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Nick Williams, Managing Director of DotX, spoke on Kingett’s appointment: “With a commercial mindset, an eye for emerging talent, and an extensive contact book, Josh is perfectly positioned to grow and develop our professional esports operations. I am delighted to have him as a part of our team.”

Headed by Nick Williams and Mitsouko Anderson (COO), DotX Talent was launched with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
