European esports organisation Acend has announced a partnership with furniture manufacturer Yaasa through its gaming-focused Yaasa Play brand.

The partnership will focus on Yaasa Play gaming furniture, which will be used to equip Acend’s headquarters.

Acend is an organisation most-known for its success in VALORANT. The organisation made history by being the first-ever winner of VALORANT Champions in 2021, beating Russian team Gambit in the grand final.

Since then, the organisation has failed to replicate similar competitive success at the highest level after not being named a VCT partner team. The organisation was close to qualifying for VCT EMEA through this year’s Ascension tournament, but finished third overall.

The company still competes in VALORANT and PUBG, which it re-entered after a short break from competing. The organisation also parted ways with its Apex Legends roster in September.

Yaasa is an Austrian brand specialising in office furniture. The brand is most-known for its standing desk lineup. Yaasa Play is the brand’s gaming division which creates gaming-focused standing desks. The partnership with Acend is the first for the gaming brand, which was officially announced in August 2023.

Benjamin Rolle, Acend CEO, commented on the partnership: “I am thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Acend and Yaasa, the trailblazers in gaming desk production. The Yaasa Play desks provide optimal comfort and focus during intense gaming or working sessions, impeccable cable management systems and boast a sleek design that amplifies any gaming setup.

“Our players have tested them throughout intense bootcamp sessions and the gaming desks from Yaasa helped them perform under heavy workload. We are extremely grateful to have such great products in our facility.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
