Esports production company C2E4 and game developer CAPCOM have announced the Campus Legends Southeast Asia Invitational Street Fighter 6 tournament.

The event is set to be part of Campus Legends, Southeast Asia’s largest regional collegiate esports tournament, and will be open to players from the six SEA countries. Scholarships will be given as rewards, as well as prize money.

This will be the first time the Campus Legends will have a Street Fighter tournament, with the series previously announcing VALORANT and MLBB tournaments. The tournament is organised by Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) and produced by C2E4.

The Street Fighter tournament will feature students from six SEA countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia, and will consist of a series of local qualifiers followed by two last-chance qualifiers. The Campus Legends organisers have secured partnerships with regional esports federations, which will help with the qualifying process in their countries.

The best players will compete in a LAN final on October 26th. Details about the venue and prize money were not shared by the organisers. However, the finals will likely be a part of the broader Campus Legends LAN finals. The event has a large roster of partners and sponsors, including the likes of AOC, Acer Predator and the MPL SG esports league.

Frank Yong, Managing Director of C2E4 Pte Ltd, commented on the announcement: “For esports to move into the next phase, we must secure rules and structure for university-level esports in the same fashion as all other collegiate sports have done. We hope that C2E4 can be part of that process in partnership with CAPCOM Singapore and the South East Asia’s Esports Associations.”

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
