UK university esports body NSE (National Student Esports) has expanded its partnership with student discount platform UNiDAYS.

As a result, UNiDAYS LVL UP has become the new headline sponsor of the body and the British University Esports Championship.

In addition to sponsoring the British University Esports Championship, UNiDAYS will aim to increase its presence during the 2024/25 championships with regular-season tournaments, for a variety of titles, taking place throughout October.

NSE and UNiDAYS first partnered in September 2023 to help support student gamers representing universities across the UK. According to a release, 113 universities competed during the 2023/24 academic year, making it one of the largest grassroots esports initiatives in the UK.

Founded in 2017, NSE has cemented itself as the largest platform for collegiate esports within the UK. In September 2024, it partnered with Chinese game developer HoYoverse for a third consecutive year to collaborate on Genshin Impact events taking place across UK student campuses.

NSE extending its deal with UNiDAYS takes its total number of partners to nine. Others on its portfolio include peripherals brand SteelSeries, snack brand Pringles and gaming monitor manufacturer iiyama.

Alex Coulson, Managing Director at NSE, spoke on the deal: We are incredibly excited to see UNiDAYS step up as the headline partner for NSE.

“UNiDAYS’ dedication to supporting student communities aligns perfectly with NSE values, and together, we are poised to create a more engaging and impactful environment for student gamers across the UK. We look forward to a brilliant future and the many opportunities this deeper partnership will bring for the NSE community.”

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
