Marvel Rivals has confirmed all eight participants for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Invitational EMEA, including well-known organisations such as OG Esports and Fnatic.

Taking place from February 28th until March 9th, the regional esports tournament features a $100,000 (~£78,900) prize pool.

The list of teams includes a mix of smaller esports organisations and well-known veterans who have invested in Marvel Rivals’ emerging esports scene. Virtus.pro already announced its entry into Marvel Rivals esports earlier this month.

Meanwhile, OG and Fnatic confirmed their roster lineups just before the Invitational announcement. Luminosity has recently signed two Marvel Rivals rosters, detailing its high expectations for the esports title in an interview with esports media outlet Dot Esports.

These veterans are joined by Icelandic organisation DUSTY, Saudi Arabian team Twisted Minds, ECSTATIC and French roster Team Peps.

Marvel Rivals’ Quick Esports Growth

The Marvel Rivals Invitational (MRI) sees the top teams from Oceania, Asia, EMEA and North America compete in regional $100,000 tournaments. The Oceania and Asia competitions have already concluded, with Kanga Esports and U4RIA NLE securing first place in their respective regions.

NA will be the final region of the event, taking place from March 14th to 23rd. Although not yet confirmed, the list of NA teams could include popular esports organisation Sentinels, which announced its expansion into Marvel Rivals esports this month.

Kicking off on February 28th, EMEA’s MRI competition will feature a double-elimination bracket. The Upper Bracket Semifinals and Finals will be best-of-threes (BO3s), while all Loser Bracket matches will be best-of-fives (BO5s). The tournament winner will be determined in a best-of-seven (BO7) Grand Final.

The Marvel Rivals Invitational is not the only major Marvel Rivals tournament established since the game’s impressive launch in December last year. Last month, the Marvel Rivals Championship Season 1, titled Eternal Night Falls, was revealed for March 8th to April 6th.
