FaZe Clan and Team Liquid are among the second wave of team invites announced for the FISSURE Playground 2 Counter-Strike 2 event.

Ahead of the event, the Serbian tournament organiser has announced 12 of the 16 teams competing.

GamerLegion and 3DMAX have also accepted an invitation to FISSURE’s second CS2 event of the year, having competed at FISSURE Playground 1 earlier this year.

Making its FISSURE Playground debut alongside FaZe Clan and Team Liquid are The MongolZ. The runners-up from the BLAST.tv Austin Major will be attending the event after skipping BLAST Open London due to its inability to travel to the UK.

Rounding out the second wave of teams heading to the Belgrade Arena is TYLOO. The defending FISSURE Playground champions will be looking to defend its title after defeating Astralis in the Grand Final.

The announcement means five of the top ten teams from July’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) are attending the event taking place in the Serbian capital. The final four teams have yet to be confirmed.

Teams in attendance will compete for a share of the event’s $1.25m (~£921,543) prize pool and VRS points that determine which teams qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major in November.

A congested tournament schedule means FISSURE Playground 2 clashes with StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, another notable event that is using July’s VRS for invite distribution. WIth organisations looking to earn a plaec in the top 32, teams have to decide which invites to accept.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
