The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Split 2 Pro League will see the top teams from around the world compete for a spot in the 2026 Championship.
The Pro League will take place across four major regions — Americas, EMEA, APAC North and APAC South, running from August 31st to October 12th, 2025.
Americas
In the Americas region, Team Falcons is the one to look out for as the organisation finished first in the first split’s Pro League. Other contenders include ROC Esports, the runners-up at the Midseason Playoffs during the Esports World Cup (EWC).
These are all the teams competing in the Americas Pro League and qualification method:

EMEA
Natus Vincere, widely known as NAVI, is standout contender in the competition as the winner of the ALGS 2024 championship. A potential underdog heading into the event is POT, the runner-up of the Pro League Qualifiers and the only team in that tournament to win more than one game.
EMEA encapsulates teams based in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. These are all the roster competing in the region’s Pro League:

APAC North
ENTER FORCE.36 will enter the tournament as one of the favourites to win considering its performance at the Midseason Playoffs, where the team was placed the highest out of all the APAC North rosters that competed.
Another strong organisation to keep an eye on is the Split 1 Pro league winner, SBI e-Sports, which will be looking to repeat history with another victory.

APAC South
Undoubtedly, all eyes will be on the Midseason Playoff champion, VK Gaming, the org that also won the previous Pro league. Its toughest opponent will arguably be Gen.G, an APAC South team that was in the top four at the EWC, and also a runner-up in the Split 1 Pro League.
APAC South covers teams in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania. These are all the teams participating through either Split 1 or the Pro League Qualifier:

ALGS Split 2 Pro League Format
Each region will follow an identical format for the ALGS Split 2 Pro league, with both $125,000 (~£92,275) prize pool and Championship Points on the line.
It will begin with the Regular Season, where 30 of the top esports teams will be seeded into three groups based on their performances from the Split 1 Pro League, Pro League Qualifier, and Championship Point rankings.
It will have a Triple Round Robin format, with each group facing against the others three times.
There will be six match series played in total, each consisting of six games, where teams can earn Pro League Points. The top 20 teams with the most points will advance to the Regional Finals.
The next stage will follow a Match Point format, where the first team to secure both 50 points and a first-place finish will be declared as the winner.
The Regular Season standings will be based on the number of Pro League Points gathered from the Triple Round Robin and the Regional Finals.
The top team from the Regional Finals and the Regular Season standings will qualify for the 2026 Championship. However, if the top team from the standings wins the Regional Finals as well, no slot will be given to the team ranked in second place.
