StarLadder has revealed the four teams that have received direct invitations to the upcoming StarSeries 19 Counter-Strike 2 LAN event.

The four invited teams were determined by July’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), which were topped by the French esports organisation Team Vitality.

NAVI, ranked fifth in the July VRS, is the only team from the top ten attending the event, with Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) being the second-highest-ranked side at 19th.

The Swedish esports organisation initially competed as part of the event’s qualifiers but received a direct invitation after an unnamed team decided to withdraw from the tournament.

B8 and Passion UA round out the invited teams. For Passion UA, the event marks the debut of the organisation’s new roster after acquiring Complexity’s core as a result of the North American organisation departing Counter-Strike esports on August 19th.

StarLadder StarSeries 19 Teams

The majority of teams competing at the event are ranked towards the bottom or are just outside of the top 32. B8 has an opportunity to climb further from its current 27th place, while the likes of OG Esports (42nd) and 9INE (56th) could move closer to the Major places with a strong performance.

With the invites confirmed following the conclusion of the qualifiers, the team list for StarLadder StarSeries 19 is as follows:

  • NAVI
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • B8
  • Passion UA
  • OG Esports
  • Iberian Soul
  • PARIVISION
  • 9INE

The eight-team LAN event takes place from September 18th to 21st, 2025, in Budapest, Hungary, features a $500,000 (~£370,570) prize pool, and VRS points that will decide the teams competing at the StarLadder Budapest Major in November.

StarLadder StarSeries 19 clashes with FISSURE Playground 2, another CS2 event that is using the July VRS for invite distribution. The event operated by the Serbian tournament organiser will see the likes of Team Liquid and FaZe Clan compete.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
