On October 28th, the second round of Group Stage matches concluded with both FlyQuest and Natus Vincere topping Group B. On the third day, the two teams faced off to decide which among them was the best.

FlyQuest secured first blood after winning 2-1 on Birnin T’Challa, but Natus Vincere struck back with a decisive 3-1 victory on Hall of Djalia. The final map, Midtown, was ultimately won by FlyQuest after defeating the EMEA team 1-0.

FlyQuest ends its Group Stage run without suffering a single defeat, outperforming other teams such as Stage 2 Americas champions, 100 Thieves, and Stage 2 China champions OUG.

The last match of the day saw Virtus.pro face off against ENVY in Group A. By this stage, Virtus.pro had already secured a spot in the Playoffs thanks to its strong performance, while ENVY’s elimination was all but confirmed.

Regardless, it was a highly anticipated match between two of the most popular teams in the scene. However, Virtus.pro prevailed after winning 2-0 on Krakoa and 2-1 on Hall of Djalia.

The Stage 2 EMEA champion, Virtus.pro, ended its Group Stage run on a high, topping the group with a 5-0 win/loss ratio. On the other hand, ENVY’s early exit came as a shock to fans and commentators alike, marking a major upset for the organisation.
