Sentinels has won the SEN City Classic 2025 Off//Season tournament by defeating ENVY 2-1 in today’s Grand Final.

With this result, SEN’s new roster for VCT 2026 has also secured the lion’s share of the tournament’s $20,000 (~£15,200) prize pool.

North American esports organisation Sentinels first introduced the SEN City Classic tournament during the 2024 VCT OFF//SEASON. The inaugural event was won by reigning VALORANT Champions 2025 winner, NRG.

This year’s edition saw SEN face off against fellow VCT Americas team Cloud9, Americas Ascension 2025 champion ENVY and Sentinels’ academy team, Cubert Academy.

The new SEN roster features former MIBR player Gabriel ‘cortezia’ Cortez as well as former Cubert Academy members Mirel ‘Kyu’ Hrustemovic and Yassin ‘reduxx’ Aboulalazm, in addition to veteran Amine ‘johnqt’ Ouarid and 2025 signing Marshall ‘N4RRATE’ Massey.

Like last year, SEN City Classic was hosted by SEN streamer Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik and the company’s Chief Operating Officer (CEO), Rob Moore. Former Sentinels duelist Zachary ‘zekken’ Patrone also made guest appearances throughout the broadcast.

From November 6th to 8th, the four invited teams battled through a single-round-robin Group Stage, with the top three advancing to the single-elimination Playoffs. All matches were best-of-threes (BO3s).

Sentinels emerged from the Group Stage as the only undefeated roster, having defeated Cubert Academy (2-0), Cloud9 (2-0) and ENVY (2-1). While rival ENVY had to first survive against Cubert in the Semifinal earlier today (2-0), SEN had earned a direct bye for the Grand Final.

The rematch between Sentinels and ENVY delivered a close back-and-forth Grand Final with every map featuring an ACE: first reduxx on Chamber, then Alex ‘canezerra’ Banyasz with Odin and finally NARRATE on Raze.

SEN and ENVY played the same three maps as in their previous face-off – Sunset, Pearl and Split – albeit in a different order. Following Sentinels’ 13-8 victory in the first game, ENVY brought the series to a third map, with a 13-8 performance on Pearl.

However, SEN dominated on the final map (13-3) to secure the SEN City Classic 2025 title. Cortezia was the highest-performing player, scoring a 52/32/10 KDA.

Sentinels’ next off-season event is Red Bull Home Ground, taking place in New York City from November 13th to 16th.
