Marvel Rivals Ignite Preseason to take place during Season 7 across all regions

NetEase has revealed the full map pool for the Marvel Rivals Ignite Preseason, the first line-up of official regional tournaments to kickstart the 2026 season.

A total of 14 maps across three game modes will be played during Season 7 in all regions, including EMEA, Americas, Pacific Asia and Pacific Oceania.

Convoy maps, where one team strives to escort a payload to its destination, include Midtown, Arakko, Spider-Islands, Yggdrasill Path and Museum of Contemplation.

Domination maps, where Marvel Rivals teams fight for control of a point, include Krakoa, Hell’s Heaven, Birnin T’Challa, and Celestial Husk.

Convergence maps, where teams fights for control of an objective before escorting a payload, include Symbiotic Surface, Heart of Heaven, Shin-Shibuya, Hall of Djalia and Central Park.

Maps notably absent from the Marvel Rivals Ignite Preseason are the domination map Royal Palace, and Throne of Knull from the removed Resource Rumble mode.

What to Expect From the Marvel Rivals Ignite Preseason

The Marvel Rivals Ignite Preseason will be split into three stages: the Group Stage, Main Stage, and Finals. Teams will qualify for the event either through direct invitation as partnered orgs, or by advancing through the seasonal Marvel Rivals Championships.

The schedule has been revealed for all regions, except for China:

The Group Stage will feature a round-robin format with best-of-three matches. The top performing teams will move on to the Main Stage, which will shift to a double-elimination format with best-of-five matches.

The Preseason will conclude with the Finals, which will feature best-of-five matches, except for the Grand Finals, which will be best-of-seven.

Americas and EMEA will each feature 12 teams, divided into two groups of six during the Group Stage. The top four teams from each group will then move on to the Main Stage.

Pacific Asia and Oceania will feature eight teams each. In Pacific Oceania, teams will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Main Stage. Pacific Asia will pit all eight teams against one another in a round-robin, with the bottom two teams eliminated.
