British esports organisation Method has announced a partnership with hardware supplier SCAN Computers.

The deal will see SCAN collaborate with Method throughout World of Warcraft’s Midnight Season 1. Specifically, it will focus on Race to World First, a competitive event centred on defeating new expansion raids in the latest WoW expansion. Its latest edition officially kicks off on March 17th.

According to a release, SCAN will be promoted across Method creators’ channels and events over the next month. Additionally, the partnership will also offer giveaways throughout the event.

Liam Whitehead, Head of Partnerships, commented on the new deal: “SCAN is synonymous in the UK as the go-to PC hardware brand for your next build, and I personally recommend their ‘Live Build’ option. It gives you the chance to watch your system being built.

“We’re incredibly excited to have SCAN back supporting Method for our Race to World First and the launch of the Midnight expansion.”

Method Locks Another Partner

Founded in 2005, Method is one of the world’s longest-standing World of Warcraft guilds. In recent years, the esports team has continued to attract new partners to support its initiatives.

Last year, the company closed a deal with decentralised cloud infrastructure provider Theta Network, renewed its existing deal with stream donation platform Noda Prime, and also signed a new deal with digital store Instant Gaming. The company is also backed by the soft drink company Holy as well as the open-world Web3 MMORPG Valhalla.

SCAN Computers’ Esports History

Based in Horwich, SCAN is a prominent British B2B and B2C hardware retailer. Founded in 1987, the company operates several brands, including SCAN 3XS, Pro Gaming, and Pro Audio, among others.

In the esports space, the company has previously worked with National Student Esports (NSE) in 2023 and 2024, supporting the British University Esports Championship. In 2023, esports veteran and Dignitas founder Michael O’Dell joined SCAN as its Director of Pro Gaming & Esports, a role he still has to this day.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
