Adam Heath, Co-founder of UK Esports Awards discussed the deal: “It’s great to see AOC return to the UK Esports Awards and sponsoring the after party. They have always been a massive supporter of the UK scene across tournaments and events, and after the success of last year, we’re happy to see them return and work with us once again.”

This year, the awards have been split into four categories. Under the ‘Gaming’ category are ‘Player Of The Year’, ‘Team/Org Of The Year’, and ‘Manager Of The Year’. Under the ‘Presentation banner are ‘Caster Of The Year’, ‘Presenter Of The Year’, ‘Streamer Of The Year’, and ‘Tournament Of The Year’. The ‘Backstage’ category includes ‘Admin Of The Year’, ‘Photographer Of The Year’, ‘Videographer Of The Year’, ‘Reporter Of The Year’, ‘Service Provider Of The Year’, and ‘Backstage Hero’. ‘Memes & dreams’ is the last category and it involves ‘Banter Of The Year’ and ‘Wooden Spoon’.

Nathan Blank, UK Channel Sales Manager at AOC also commented: “As last year’s event was such a success, AOC are delighted to be on board again for the second UK Esports Awards as After Party Sponsor! An event that focus’ solely on recognising and celebrating all the hard work of those within the UK Esports community is invaluable and certainly not to be missed. Without talent like these, the UK esports scene wouldn’t be the dynamic, exciting, diverse and ever-growing industry it is today, and here at AOC we continue to invest and support this extremely important sector and continue to build on our strong position with new exciting products for both the enthusiast and professional gamers.”

Esports Insider says: While most award shows are effectively popularity contests, it’s cool to see figures in esports from the UK get some recognition considering all of the hard work that they put into the scene. AOC’s support will undoubtedly help to improve the experience of the show so this is welcome news.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
