Together, the pair will serve as SK Gaming’s exclusive supplier and distributor for its merchandise and performance wear. The news mark both 11teamsports and Nike’s first voyage expedition into German esports, insisting the partnership “is a testimony of their long-term commitment to the organisation and the overall esports ecosystem.”

Alexander T. Müller, Managing Director of SK Gaming commented on the partnerships in a release: “We are incredibly proud to have our logo next to the world-famous Swoosh. As a brand, Nike stands for values that we live and breathe every day while 11teamsports will be able to provide us with the best possible support and infrastructure to take our merchandise to the next level.”

Dennis Schröder, Managing Director of 11teamsports added: ‘We are proud of announcing the new cooperation with SK Gaming, and we look forward to cooperating with Nike, one of the major global players, with regard to merchandising and matchwear collections. At 11teamsport, we consider this opportunity a perfect starting point for launching our common topics and enlisting the global appeal of the Nike brand as support for the excellent team surrounding Alexander Müller in a professional way.”

Nike has taken big strides into esports in the last year alone. Within the last  12 months, Nike has established partnerships with Vodafone Giants, T1, FURIA, and LPL.

Esports Insider says: Having the heavy-handed support of the global sportswear giant is bountifully positive for the industry at whole. Nike has made it clear in just the last year alone with partnerships in the LPL and a number of top-tier organisations that it is doubling-down on esports.
