ESI New York (#ESINYC) returns over 27-28th April and this year includes the 2020 edition of the ESI Hall of Fame and unique content piece; the pitch investment competition The Clutch USA

Over 300 delegates will descend on Midtown Manhattan and be treated to a plethora of industry-leading content, networking as well as celebration as Esports Insider welcomes the Class of 2020 into the ESI Hall of Fame (#ESIHOF).

Apply now for The Clutch USA

After a successful debut at ESI London, The Clutch moves Stateside – to the heart of the Big Apple. We’re looking for 5 start-ups who are seeking mentorship, investment and a platform to showcase their product to a room full of key industry stakeholders.

The format is similar to that of ESI London. Applicants have until 28 February to submit an initial application here. From the initial applications, ESI and our esteemed panel of investors will whittle them down to just five who will be invited to ESI NYC. Each company chosen will receive 2 x tickets for ESI New York and be invited to join all parts of our industry leading conference.

On the day, our panel of investors will decide who has the best pitch and crown the champions of The Clutch USA. And who knows, maybe investment will be forthcoming?

Top-tier discussion, debate and learning at ESI NYC

If there’s one thing we pride ourselves on at ESI NYC – it’s just how good our content is. We’ll be hosting the finest speakers in the industry as we dissect, discuss and debate the most pertinent topics across the space.

With the likes of Moritz Maurer, CEO & Founder, GRID; Patrick Mahoney, CEO, We Are Nations; Christie St. Martin, Gaming Director, IMC; Simon Bennett, Co-Owner & CEO, AoE Creative and Rod “Slasher” Breslau already on the roster, the agenda’s starting to take great shape already.

Sponsorship, branding, data and collegiate esports are just a few of the areas we’ll be covering – with the ESI Brand Showcase also headed to NYC for the first time. We’ll welcome two big-name brands to present to delegates about their partnership, how they’ve activated, and what the future holds.

The Class of 2020

Last, but by no means least, ESI is delighted to announce that NYC will play host to the third annual Hall of Fame. With previous editions taking place at the Natural History Museum in London and Nixon Peabody’s rooftop in Los Angeles no less, we can’t think of a better place to induct our next three Hall of Famers.

Last year saw Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham and Heather “sapphiRe” Garozzo join Michal “carmac” Blicharz, Jason “1” Lake and Chris Puckett in the ESI Hall of Fame.

With drinks flowing, we’ll celebrate the achievements of three more industry stalwarts in the heart of Midtown on Monday evening. The three inductees won’t be revealed until the evening – so it’s not an event to miss!

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
