Mission Control, a company building rec league esports programs, has joined forces with solutions company Stack Sports.
The partnership aims to accelerate the growth of recreational esports in the United States.

Collaborating with Mission Control will be the first of a series of investments for Stack Sports within the esports space. As for Mission Control, this deal is the first since securing a $1.75 million (£1.33 million) investment led by Dundee Venture Capital.
Daniel Herz, Chief Revenue Officer at Mission Control, spoke on the partnership in a release: “We could not be more excited to team up with stack sports and provide recreational esports for their clients and partners. Traditional sports organizers using esports to extend values of character and team building is an important step in achieving our mission of gathering and growing community.
“Aligning with the leading technology provider in recreational sports further validates the need and growth of recreational esports in the global/national community.”

Stack Sports joins the likes of GameStop and Minnesota ROKKR as a partner of Mission Control. Its offerings range from league management solutions to dedicated camps focused on improving performance.
Jeff Brunsberg, Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer at Stack Sports, also commented on the deal: “We believe this is a great first step in bringing esports to the larger Youth Sports market.
