Games and esports analytics firm Newzoo has partnered with Indonesia-based esports organisation EVOS Esports to conduct market research and analysis of the South East Asia region.

With 15 teams across five countries in the region, EVOS is expected to be a good launchpad for analysis for Newzoo, particularly for mobile esports.

Through the partnership, Newzoo will use EVOS’ network of teams, business partnerships and fan communities to conduct market research and gain insights into the South East Asian market. In particular, Newzoo will be focusing on mobile gaming, which holds a larger share of the region’s esports and gaming consumption when compared to other scenes around the globe.

On the other end of the new working relationship, Newzoo will assist EVOS in benchmarking and spotting growth opportunities as well as strategic insights so the organisation can expand.

Newzoo’s Co-Founder and CEO, Peter Warman is keen to dive further into the SEA market, “Southeast Asia is currently the most exciting region for the overall future growth of esports and gaming, both from a business and consumer engagement perspective. EVOS Esports is right at the centre of this.

“Partnering with an ambitious and forward-thinking esports organization like EVOS Esports supports us in keeping up with this huge esports region to further strengthen our view on the global and local esports ecosystems.”

“Newzoo’s market intelligence and expertise in games and esports will assist us in making actionable, data-driven decisions as we scale our business verticals across the region. With access to the analytics tools and insights provided by Newzoo, we look forward to achieving continued success, especially when discussing with commercial partners.”

Esports Insider says: The new partnership is a great win for EVOS – it will help the company to spend intelligently following its Series B funding. The agreement is also a smart one for Newzoo considering the breadth of titles and communities EVOS is engaged in.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
