Additionally, the partnership will see Arti’s AR platform become available to ESTV content partners through its technology marketplace.

Eric Yoon, Founder and CEO of ESTV, commented on the news in a release: “ESTV’s mission is to deliver the most innovative esports and gaming programming available everywhere. By partnering with Arti, we can meet our ever-expanding audience’s expectations with amazing AR video content. And with Arti in our marketplace, our growing list of content partners will be able to engage viewers with AR across more of our programming.”

ESTV was founded in Los Angeles, California and launched officially in May 2019. The esports-dedicated channel is available on more than 30 distribution channels across digital, over-the-top video, and cable platforms, including Roku, Samsung TV, Sling, and more.

ESTV’s extensive list of official partners includes Esports Entertainment Group, Simplicity Esports, ESE Entertainment, and the NFL Alumni Association.

Arti Co-founder & CEO, Yaron Zakai-Or added: “ESTV viewers are used to the non-stop visual excitement of gaming, so they’re hungry for 3D graphics and AR in any esports content or commentary—making this partnership a very natural fit. We’re excited to partner with ESTV to bring the magic of AR to their content, and to provide an easy, flexible, affordable AR option for their many content partners.”

As for Arti, the Isreali-based software solution is a cloud platform that is said to help deliver ‘engaging stories with gaming-grade AR’ from anywhere. The company is notably a member of NVIDIA Inception, a virtual accelerator programme designed to nurture startups transforming industries with advancements in AI and data science.

Esports Insider says: As we start to see more augmented reality incorporated into traditional sports and esports broadcast, we’re really starting to see the potential of these sectors colliding. ESTV’s partnership with Arti is a no-brainer in that sense and hopefully, the agreement is able to deliver AR content that consumers have been waiting for.
