Rajwanshi joins the platform after an eight-year tenure at communications group Publicis Groupe where he served as its Associate Vice President. Prior to joining the group, he spent a year as the Lead Producer for Mumbai-based video game developer Kreeda Games.

Anurag Khurana, Founder of Penta Esports, spoke on the appointment in a release: “I’ve worked with Anand in the past and have always admired his creative approach and vision. I believe his addition to the team will be immensely beneficial to the brand as he shapes the creative messaging going forward. I look forward to working with an old friend and colleague.”

Founded in 2021 by Indian gaming and esports company Newgen Gaming, Penta Esports hosts regular tournaments in Free Fire, VALORANT, and Battlegrounds Mobile India as part of its amateur esports league.

Rajwanshi also commented on his new role: “I was fortunate to be in the first batch of people who were responsible for starting the gaming industry in India. Having worked in several verticals, I feel gaming is the only domain to challenge every talent present in me.

“This perhaps is the reason I call it my first love. Getting back into gaming is the full circle that I needed. I look forward to teaming up with movers and shakers of esports in India.”

Esports Insider says: With plenty of experience from previous roles in the gaming industry, Anand Rajwanshi joining Penta Esports to lead its creative projects has the potential to spark growth for the platform.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
