Before joining Riot Games in 2018, Alban led the Gaming and Esports agenda at the Coca-Cola Company including the rule-breaking global partnership with Riot Games since 2014. During his five-year tenure at the Atlanta based company, he also led some award-winning campaigns such as the 2013 Coca-Cola Zero partnership with PlayStation Europe, the 2014 partnership with Ubisoft Just Dance to promote active healthy living and in 2017 he signed the first Coca-Cola virtual athlete Alex Hunter endorsement from the EA Sports FIFA franchise. Previously, he worked for 10 years at Havas Sports & Entertainment on clients such as Adidas, Hyundai, Sparkasse, Lacoste, Europcar, Unilever or Louis Vuitton. Prior to joining Havas, he studied international business, sports, and marketing at ESSEC Business School in France and at Fachhochschule Dortmund, Germany. Alban has worked in the US, China, Egypt, Germany, and France. A former youth international rugby player and still in love, he is a passionate player of League of Legends and sources inspiration in street art and scuba diving. Alban is now CEO at G2 Esports, and will be joining us for ESI London 2023.
