North American organisation Cloud9 has announced a partnership with Copenhagen-based travel gear brand Maika’i.
To coincide with the announcement, Cloud9 has launched three collaborative travel products on its online store.

At the time of writing, Cloud9-branded hardbags, powerbanks, and mouse bungees are available for purchase. No terms of the deal beyond the sale of collaborative items have been disclosed at the time of writing.
Cloud9 partnered with esports merchandising company We Are Nations in October to launch and operate a European merchandise store. The organisation is also partnered with Microsoft, Puma, AT&T, BMW, Secretlab, Red Bull, OMEN by HP, HyperX, U.S. Air Force, and Twitch.

Maika’i is a gaming-focused brand that provides “high-end travel-gear,” making it incredibly useful for Cloud9’s players. It currently competes in League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Fortnite, Hearhtstone, PUBG Mobile, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Teamfight Tactics, and World of Warcraft.
Maika’i is also a sponsor of the Esports Awards, which just announced a deal with Lexus for its fourth annual event on November 16th.
Esports Insider says: After recently expanding its merchandise offering into Europe, Cloud9 has made a smart move by selling items that target hardcore gamers. It’s also nice to see the organisation selling more creative items in addition to the traditional choice of jerseys and hoodies.
